If you have a worn Sachs, consider that I recently doubled the life of a 6 speed Sachs by taking the middle worn cogs and filing the notches so I could flip them over. My 5s IRD Classica lock ring was coming loose no matter how I tightened it so I used a couple drops of blue loctite. It shifts too nicely but I'm getting used to it.
