Bikes: (2) ti TiCycles, 2007 w/ triple and 2011 fixed, 1979 Peter Mooney, ~1983 Trek 420 now fixed and ~1973 Raleigh Carlton Competition gravel grinder

OEM Shimanos for me. Stock on a Miyata 610, probably early '80s. Picked up that bike well used as a replacement for my commuter, did the first stop and it was "these things are going on my Mooney!" Those early Shimano cantis were very close to the old Mafacs geometry-wise but far better executed and a dream to own. After 22 years on the Mooney, all I have to say is that they are keepers. I get reminded every time I ride that bike. (I'm thinking they are a generation before the OP's cantis though I have never known a part number.)

Oh, and thank you, poster of the previous page that mentioned using the MTB side of the brake cables for bridles. I knew I was keeping them for a reason!
