Mid 90s (?) Trek 2300 CF composite

Could use some help here, vintage gurus. Looking at this Trek bike going for $200. All original Ultegra parts, rims were changed out, though. I'd have to have family pick it up for me as I'm not in my hometown area anymore. I asked the seller for more close-up pictures to check it all out. Is this too good to be true for this carbon fiber composite classic?

I'm not a hardcore rider at all so I don't mind the DT shifters (or replacing them in the future), but I am looking for longevity in any vintage bike I buy. Thanks for any input y'all might have!
