My brother, like me, can fix anything. He pulled his boat to work on the propeller shafts. Turned out he had to replace both shafts which are 1-3/4" marine stainless 11 feet long. Including pulling the boat, cradling it on shore, shore fees, and launching, an expensive week.

He earned great satisfaction from completing the repair, and knowledge of how his boat functions which will be useful in the future.
