Carbon fiber seatposts seems to have problems in almost any frame so steel isn't a particular issue. There are a lot of reports of slipping no matter what the seatpost is installed in.
Thanks, Just had to check. BTW, I've had no slippage problems with my carbon fiber seat post into an aluminum frame.
