Torquing the transferred cassette down on the new rear wheel. (Her shirt says, "Cycling is dope.")
Removing the old brakes.
Tightening the skewer to finish the job.
With dad's help, my daughter successfully installed a set of Textro 559's and el-cheepo Zac19 rims from uglyrm with Grand Bois Cypress tires. We had to install a new rear brake cable and a new bit of housing to the brake, but it was pretty simple and straight forward. If a twelve year-old can do it,
anybody can do it!
