The owner of American bicycles was only in business for about two years. He left the bicycle business to focus on his automobile project as the designer and creator of the Rambler automobile.
He was previously partnered with Schwinn I believe.
I've spent massive amounts of time researching it trying to find additional information but it's so rare it's almost as if it doesn't exist.
You can rest assured no other bike collector will have this in his collection.
