A swimming traveler? That's a new one for me.

If you go the North Roads bar route, you need new grips, brake levers and thumb shifters as well. You can find it all at velo-orange.com at reasonable prices. (VO calls them Tourist handlebars)

You may want a taller and more upright stem like the one below. Make sure the one you order matches the diameter of your new handlebar.
