My shoes (some Sidi model) are about 12 years old now. One of the Velcro straps occasionally undoes itself but otherwise they're fine. They're kinda scuffed up. They don't see a lot of rain, but definitely some. They probably have around 40,000 miles in them in that time.
I'm fully expecting to get another "lot" of years out them before they need replacing.
