I do not notice much difference at cruising speed between the two. However get up and go from dead stop with Mavic I felt I can get moving a little quicker.

Instant Drive 360 is definitely much better than the OEM freehub, feels solid very fast-engaging. The only thing is the freehub kind of annoying loud when coasting but I can live with it.

Other thing I noticed that with Mavic vs Axis was crosswind. Bike stay planted, does not feel like it want to change the lane when riding in crosswind condition.
