I'm rebuilding 2 early 1970's Motobecane bikes (Le Champ and Grand Jubile). Both use Stronglight bottom brackets. I never saw the original bearings. Do these use the "standard" 1/4" bearings or, like everything else on the bike, something special unknown to all but the French? If the later, what size and where would I source them? I've tried 1/4", but there is some up and down play in the crank, and hence my question.
