more variables like chain stay length ... is just one..

I test fit the chain in situ. on the bike a piece of spoke bent in a C holds the ends wrap it thru big-big and everything else.

So, in a typical 116 link chain you barely use half?


bike chains are 1/2" pitch,(between pin centers), so actual length is X number of 0.5"...
