They finished construction on a 1/2 mile of new street near my office connecting two roads previously separated by a field. By utilizing this new road it reduces the distance I have to ride on a major congested artery down to about 1/4 mile (previously was about 1 mile.) It was nice having the road all to my self.

I suspect this will change as soon as drivers figure out this new road exists and start using it in an attempt to bypass the congested artery. But for now I'm enjoying it.
