A convenient choice from the LBS. My advice would be to walk slowly, or quickly, away from that LBS because attempting to sell someone $3k+ wheels to replace their entry level wheelset is just absurd. At 220 lbs., you are probably at a more typical weight for a cyclist than guys/gals weighing <150 lbs. Normal wheelsets are more than capable of handling your weight, but, and it's a big 'but', no wheelset will last long under anyone (other than a truly fly-weight cyclist) if it isn't properly built. And most machine-built wheels simply aren't.

The advice to find a good wheel builder is very sound. They'll be able to set you up with something that's easily maintained and can be readily rebuilt with parts that won't be NLA in a year or two. All for a lot less money than $3300. @Psimet; and November Dave on this forum would be good starting (and ending) points in your search
