oops, missed it the first time. Thanks. So this is interesting. It is hard to see the black one. I took another picture and moved the cable out of the way. It was easier to photograph the seat tube lug. The steering tube lug has the same shape at the top tube joint. The green (sort of) frame is a 1969. My 64 Sports has this same shape at the joint. Thanks to your pictures, I see a Raleigh frame with the brazed on pulley and the same shaped lug as the 69 and 64. So now I'm figuring that when Raleigh redesigned the Sports lugs in 1954 or so, they at first, had the tombstone shape at the top tube joint like the black bike and sometime later changed it to the V on top shape in the later 50s. Since the brazed on pulley was gone in 1961, I'll guess your assessment of 59 to 60 is a good one. Thanks again for your help. Another piece of the puzzle.
