I also found some bald patches on the rear tire of my fixie, but I noticed before I left, so I rode a different bike. The bald spots kinda look like chunks of rubber were actually torn out of the tire, rather than just wear. Makes me wonder if Gatorskins are not good tires for a fixie with all those madd skidz I do. It was an old tire from a different bike.
