Does anyone know if the amount of spokes have anything to do with a cycle computer? My front rim only has 16 spokes and the computer doesn't seem acurate. I might have set it up wrong but i'm not sure because i've had them on other bikes.

Spoke count doesn't matter.
There's still only one magnet and only one pass per revolution.
If readings are consistent but inaccurate, check your calibration value. A roll-out can get you closer than numbers off a chart.
If readings are inconsistent, check installation.
Mainly how magnet pass pickup.
For wireless units, check your surroundings. They may pick up interference from power lines.
