Road Bike Conversion from 2x to 1x; Recommendations?
I want to convert one of my road bikes to a 1x10, for flat rides. I think I want a 42t chain ring, and to keep the 11-23 in the rear. Crank is 105 compact.
Remove shifter and FD, shorten chain, obviously. Can I save the crankarm and simply replace the chain ring? Any particular type/brand of chain ring? Thanks.
