Firstly I did not mention it wasn't a Roberts crown, I said it was all wrong. I have two of the earliest Roberts frames (anywhere) and have recently contributed to an extensive article on Roberts so I do have knowledge - to date I've not seen that type of crown on a Roberts (Vagner I think).

I'll not contribute anymore to this thread as there's no dialogue (and no answer for the OP to my question)...rather typical of this forum in my experience.
