The cost of healthy food is more expensive in the beginning. But once you start eating healthy and losing weight, you eat less. Junk food, inexpensive carbs create more desire and you end up gaining weight and eventually eating more cheap food. Who eats just potatoe chips, usually you want salty and sweet so add some ice cream. Carbs raise your sugar and you want more food in an hour or so, so you eat more food. It is an endless cycle. After you eat a healthy meal, you don't want chips and donuts especially once you have been eating healthy for a couple of weeks.
