Cant beat classic ATB in Chrome, i have a Diamond Back Ascent in Chrome and she sure shines. this one looks to be about a 1985 model. get the SN and it maybe able to be deciphered here.

Check that seatpost as soon as you can if you have not done it already and might as well check the stem, there is rust on the seatpost and make sure its not stuck.
