We had a little thunderstorm come in right at 5pm yesterday. I managed to get about halfway home before it hit. I saw/heard two lightning flashes and thunder booms so headed for an underpass to wait it out. Ten seconds after getting under it the rain started. I waited for the worst of it to pass and then rode home in the lingering light rain. It cooled things off quite nicely and gave me a bit of a tailwind.
Quite warm and muggy this morning: 73F and 93% humidity. I actually hope for the afternoon showers to happen these days to keep the forecast high of 93F in check.

I have not been on here in a while but I have still be commuting.

Tuesday for July 4th I rode with a friend 63 miles with 4393 ft of elevation gain. I rode up a mountain and saw 15% grade on my GPS. It was tough. My legs are tired but I have been still riding. I have been trying to dodge the thunderstorms this summer as well. it has been more challenging since I now get off earlier which seems to be when they hit. I have been pretty lucky so far though... we shall see.
