Well.. the tire was really, really , really tight and we barely got it on, but we must of put a hole in the tube so we were done. I then headed back to Bethpage and drove back to give him a lift.

It was a long morning but I was glad to help.
Ya done another good deed.
I thought you were coming with us on the AA. I've been working past couple of nights so was running on maybe 7 hours total sleep since Thursday morning. Plus I hate this heavy air. So we cheated on the ride, opting to pass on the dead end out-n-back to Centre Island, and stop at the beach for a cooldown, rejoining the group on the return leg. Then the ride leader decided to throw in a loop on Horseshoe Rd, just because, and 4 of us continued on the route home figuring the rest of them would be a few minutes behind but would reel us in. Well, they didn't, until we were less than a mile from home. Ended up with 39, which is plenty when it's this icky.
