Yep.

I was working on some cooling strategies because even though I race in SoCal, the TT season is really Sept to May when it's a little cooler. And our races tend to be early in the day, so it's usually actually pretty cool at game time.

So during my warm up, I kept myself cool on the trainer with ice, a fan, cold mist from a spray bottle etc.

My skinsuit was wet when I flipped it up to pull it over my torso (I warm up in a short sleeve jersey). This caused it to stretch out on my arms & wrinkles ensued around my wrists and hands. A terrible sight to see.

The wet skin suit meant my number had to be pinned instead of glued, and we did a hack job in the last minute scramble. Thankfully I could not see that during the race.

The worst part though was that a put an ice sleeve in my ski suit across my shoulders. I could feel the air entering my skinsuit at the back of my neck during the race. Mega parachute effect.

Aero disaster.

Offset, though, by the aero improvements of the new position. And that was the main thing I was testing today. Hence, my happiness with it.
