Even if the loss were more than the homeowner's insurance deductible, I'd be hesitant to file a claim for the stolen bikes. Insurance companies have been known to pay a claim, then kick you to the curb, at which point you might not be able to get insurance at all, or at highly inflated rates. It's not worth putting your ability to insure your home at risk.
