Different world.

I run clipless (Look Keo Classics) on my geared bike, I keep my fixed bike... un-clipless, I guess? Anyway, I run some form of straps on my fixed bike so that I don't have to put on my funny shoes. I was running Power Grips Deluxe pedals and straps, which I've used for years and really liked because it kept my foot pretty retained. I mean, there was room to move around, but they were ok.

These - the Fyxation platforms and the big velcro straps - actually feel better to me than do the Power Grips. I don't know if it's the pedal or the strap, but I feel much more... retained on these than on the Power Grips.

But... neither are as good as clipless, if you're looking for a solid attachment of foot to pedal.
