I've been to France many times. Decathlon is the equivalent of Dicks or Sports Authority. It's a big sports box stores, a step up from Auchan (French Target) to be sure, but not near the quality of decent Nashbar bike.
The B'twin bikes are good. As good as any of the generic Nashbar/BD bikes imo.
