The homealien is totally right. A steel bike will not reach is load limit under normal riding conditions. Steel frames flex, that is why they ride smoother than aluminum frames. I would imagine that a beat and worn aluminum frame might act funny, but I can almost see an aluminum frame cracking near the welds after some punishment. Steel is real!!!!
