I have the Topeak one. It's pretty hefty construction and mounts very securely. I haven't had it swing from side to side nor does it act like a springboard. The clamp is pretty big and distributes the load over a wide area. I also used the supplied rubber "grommet" in the clamp to [1] prevent (I have a carbon post) and [2] keep it snug and secure. I'm not sure I've ever put 20lbs on it... maybe 10lbs at most but I have little doubt one could load it up to max without structural problems... especially on a metal post.
