Comparing ti to steel (and allowing for differences in frame geometry, fork material, hubs/rims/tires etc.), I always thought ti has a different vibrational character than steel. On rough roads, where steel can feel like a low rumble, the vibration with ti seems shifted to a higher frequency, and somewhat less offensive, more muted. On smooth pavement, you sometimes get that "riding on glass" feeling. Is this what you're experiencing, or something different?
