Equipped like my Z-51 Stingray, the sticker was $10K higher, but the drive it home price was about $13K higher. Porsche was higher quality (Porsches are the highest quality cars sold in USA at the moment in my opinion) but the Corvette was only 20% crappier, not half as good as it was with the C6. And the Corvette motor is (much) better. The Z-51 Stingray is also faster around a track than a Cayman S (I can cite a couple of sources for that). The new Corvette is so improved in so many ways, just more world class. You can make moves in my current car that would have put you in weeds with the C6. That being said I did love the Cayman S. Great friggin car.
Just make sure it's not a C7 Z06....
