I bought a Simpsons model to abuse, but it arrived already abused - complete with a dent in the top tube (not from shipping because it was packed well, nothing shifted and no damage to the box). Also the wheels were not even close to true (hop up and down maybe 5mm - enough you can feel it riding with 25s on), the brake arms needed adjusting as the pivot bolt was too loose, the brake pads hit the fork arms (needed 2 serrated washers and it's still close), the bb was almost finger tight, no grease in the headset, stiff link in the chain, wheel bearings adjusted way too tight, brake lever diameter is wrong for the bar, missing stem bolt and the paint isn't that nice.
Customer service was good though. They gave me a big discount so for the price I ended up paying I'm fine.
You can't slam the rear wheel because even with 23s they hit the brake bridge. I got a 49 and the wheelbase is long at 982mm so it's not very exciting to ride - like acoustophile said. I wouldn't buy another.
I also have a 2015 Undefeated which was fine until the integrated seat clamp recently cracked (after almost 2 years). They sent me a replacement frame no questions asked. The first frame was good. Replacement bb shell seems barely too small. I don't have a micrometer, but the Omniums are tight, new bb and there is still a tiny bit of movement. Could be just the bb. Also the rear dropouts are off just enough to annoy.
