I'd heard the same thing (read it, actually, but whatev), but the article I'd read was a few years old and the label on the bottle had changed since, so, standing in the aisle of the liquor store, looking at an unfamiliar label with a too-low price, I was unsure and passed on the Don Q in favor of whatever it is that I got (not Bacardi).
