Last year I vacillated and then paid and started an hour late. I did the 76 mile version, but I wound up missing the first set of Dead & Co. that evening. My house is at the half-way point, which was nice because I could go home, have a shower, put on fresh clothes, eat something other than a cheese sandwich (their idea of a vegetarian option) and play with the dogs. But then I have to ask myself, why pay $85 to do a ride I often do for free?

So once again, I am vacillating...
