And look around when you ride. Don't get fixated on the road right in front of you, sit up and stretch occasionally, and look to the left and right at the scenery. I find that when I get locked into one position for a long time, my neck and shoulders get really stiff.
Thanks Machka! I'm debating entering my first imperial century Audax this weekend (or another 100km if I get cold feet), and wondering if I will make it...
Good advice on moving around - I do tend to focus on the road ahead and probably carry more static tension than I realised. Looks like I need to up my time doing Pilates and weights too.....
