Yeah first pics were the seller's... If you can't tell already, there's a plastic coating over the annodized aluminum, to protect it. I'm definitely interested enough to get into it and see how bad the problems are. If nothing else I can salvage the Exage components and transfer to another mid-range frame...

I've got a duplicate of that bike- it's lighter than you would expect- the head tube, lugs and seat lugs are AL too. Chromo fork. I converted mine to brifters (easier than I thought it would be). The quick handling is a bit too much past 28mph though.
