Any suggestion will get you a bike that works for the person suggesting it. Decide and look at what is important to you to help narrow it down. Do you want something as close to you current road bike experience but only slightly larger tires? Do you want something less road but very road capable and more adventurous? Fit, geometry and comfort (relaxed, bottom bracket height, angles etc), tire size capability, speeds and gearing (the
Sequoia is a 46/32 11-36 and the Ritchie is a 50/34 11-28, that is a huge difference in range and gaps), weight, and go from there with price points and the "name" on the frame. You may find the perfect bike except for maybe the gears for example but that can be an easy and cheap change after the fact. 99% of that is your personal preference. My personal opinion, you already have some non compromising dedicated road bikes you can take on the road when you want efficiency and speed. I'd lean more on the fire road experience part of your goal with road being a distant second.
