We already have self driving cars, in a limited way, they can park themselves, stop for collision prevention, adapt for speed of other vehicles during cruse mode, and other things with no driver input. I predict an autonomous car in 5 years, as to when it becomes a "Legal" everyone can buy one vehicle, that will happen after awhile too...
