Yeah; can't stand it when big trucks sneak up on you on a narrow road with broken edges. Survived it so far!
32s are pretty good for the rougher sealed roads, at lower pressures. I'm running Compass Stampede Pass extralight on my road bike; they're real smooth and can handle quite a bit of the rough stuff.
