Your idea of an insulated hut without any type of heating is 100% fail....The reason why eskimo igloos worked is because there was at least 3-6 individuals tightly crammed into a small tiny space which was well sealed and only had a small ventilation hole...Eskimos used oil lamps as a source of heat inside their igloos... and they also had a lot of body fat on them which provided them with energy to keep warm and insulation from cold...None of the eskimos were vegetarian like yourself and their diet was meat, fish and fat.
