Sure, especially if that is a Northern climate where those temperatures and colder, in Fahrenheit, are normal. Should be a snap with a lifetime to adapt to it, (though that lifetime may be abbreviated). Even better if DNA will have dozens or hundreds of generations to adapt to it.

It will give him a chance to try out his theory in real life. It will be interesting to see how well one person's body heat will work. Didn't make things all that comfortable for me. With a wind blowing about 15 knots my hands were close to worthless in less than 60 seconds without gloves.
