I see things advertised like whey protein, creatine...various supplements that are promoted as helping to build muscle mass, athletic endurance, energy, etc. Typically I'm skeptical of this stuff but wondering if anyone has tried it, why (what were you trying to achieve), and what were/are the results?
Medicare age and a runner; plyometrics, intervals and hills are my focus right now.
I am a zealot about Flax Seed Oil tables and a good B complex almost every day. I also supplement with protein - Vega Sport, primarily post work-out. Most everything else I've tried has been a waste of my money.
I'm pragmatic, supplements either demonstrably work or they're in the trash. These supplements work great for me.
