I think they were on sale for around $700 the last time i checked and wrapping them in gatorskin tires worked out perfectly. I would honestly say that you benefit equally from a little weight reduction and the stiffness plus they are overall SEXY, so if your into aesthetics like myself then thats just icing on the cake.
