I hope this is the right place to post this question.

I'm going to spend next summer riding across Canada, and have decided to do it for two cancer charities (I lost a leg to cancer when I was younger).

I set up a website (http://www.cyclingforcancer.ca) and have had good response. Nike, FedEx, are two of the major companies who are sponsoring my ride.

Ideally I'd love to get a bike sponsor as well. I can try to leverage the Nike connection with Trek, but does anyone have any ideas on the best way to get into contact with bike companies?

Has anyone done something similar and can offer advice?
