Thanks to this
unbelievable eBay score, I am returning to my celeste roots. My Wilier Alpe D'Huez is just a bit too small. For all the talk of smaller frames and majorly exposed seatposts, I found that I felt better on a slightly bigger frame. Provided the frame has sloping geometry, because I have a relatively short inseam (31") compared to my height (6').
The stock 105 components and livery are plenty good enough, but I'm going to take the Centaur group off of the Wilier and put them on the new Giro. I have enough wheelsets as it is, but I might keep the Mavic Cosmos wheels. A search conducted here doesn't show me any reason to not expect good use from them. Probably replace the anatomic bar with a traditional, classic bend handlebar. Cinelli Solida or Ritchey WCS perhaps.
Almost made the under $700 road bike thread.

Almost.
