Riding into a headwind I flushed a bird out of a low branch on my left. Who in turn roused two others sitting on a railing to the right. The two on the right took off just as a gust hit. No hesitation, flipped back towards me and one went right through the middle of my frame and out underneath my leg at a damned near impossible approach angle. All this transpired in less than a quarter second.
