Hills!
I normally ride the south shore. Jones Beach, Long Beach & also Far Rockaway to Breezy Point. All nice and flat rides. Yesterday morning went to Bethpage & rode to Theodore Roosevelt Park, Sagmore Hill then back. To the riders who post here about cycling on the north shore & the cyclists who I saw yesterday on my ride I tip my hat to you. My Garmin says I normally climb 50- 60ft on the S.S. yesterday it was over 1250 ft. I was starving by the time I was done (35 miles) that is normally not the case. It was a beautiful ride though, nice to see different places. I have lived on LI my entire life and never been to Oyster Bay before.I now have an strong urge to get myself a road bike. I guess I am getting B+1 flu
