I am a cycling newbie with a 2012 Marin hybrid. Earlier today, after mounting a kerb to avoid an obstacle, the bike developed a clicking/cracking noise. It seems to come from around the steerer or front fork, and occurs whether I'm riding or pushing the bike. The bike was serviced by a Cytech mechanic in May and has run perfectly until now. Could bumping the kerb have precipitated a problem, or is that more likely a coincidence? Any suggests welcome.
