Oh, no problem getting home, but I kept it reasonably slow. The tire was shot, of course, but it was a Gatorskin. I imagine I could ride those for a 100 miles even if no rubber was left on them at all.
It was still a nice feeling to ride the next day with a nice brand new tire though.
