I think so too but, like I said previously, that's their JOB. That's what they are supposed to do. Whatever you pay for a subscription probably pays the distribution cost. The revenue to cover the content and production probably has to come from ad sales.
Hyping expensive yet cool products is their only reason for existing. That doesn't mean that they are bad people, it's just reality. Look over all of their cool new stuff. If you like it and you can afford it - fine, buy it. If you don't - don't. Just appreciate the fact that the ad made it possible to publish whatever feel good article happened to appear in the most recent issue.
